ABOUT US

The choir sing a variety of genres from modern songs to golden oldies -

all music is selected in consultation with choir members and the steering committee. 


We sing together in unison and in harmonies,

if you are unsure what kind of voice you have

we will assist you when you attend your taster session.


We print all lyrics and members have access to recorded rehearsal tracks

and digital lyrics in their members area.

We are a non-profit choir and the cost is subsidised for all members at £6 per session.

  • PARKING

    There is limited onsite and on road parking outside the church, there is also a FREE public car park a 1 minute walk away on The Green.


    If you require accessible parking, please let us know when booking your place at a taster session.

  • PAYMENTS


    There are two options for payment: 

    1. Monthly via standing order/bank transfer
    2. Termly via monthly standing order/bank transfer

    With either option there is no annual contract and you are not tied in for any period of time.


    If you join part way through a term you only pay for the remaining sessions left in the term (not the whole term).

    Choir runs for 39 weeks per year, with membership spread over 12 months in equal instalments of £19.50 per month. 

    Calculated as 39 weeks a year, at £6 per session, divided by 12 months.

    Termly via monthly standing order/bank transfer

    Choir is split into 3 terms of 13 weeks each, with membership of £78.00 paid at the beginning of each term (during the first month of the term).

    Calculated as 39 weeks a year, at £6 per session, divided by 3 terms.


    Both payment options equal a total of £234 per year. 


    If you cannot pay via either of the above methods please speak to us directly and we will endeavour to find a solution. 

  • SOCIAL

    Many choir members head to The Gate Hangs Well Pub after rehearsals.


    We also arrange end of term celebrations (at the end of Winter and Summer terms).

    Choir members often arrange social events during half terms too.

  • REHEARSALS

    Meet from 7.20pm to begin at 7.30pm 


    Sessions include:

    Warm up

    Singing

    Short Break (with hot drinks provided)

    More singing


  • PERFORMING

    Let's All Sing Community Choir performs in the local community throughout the year. 


    Types of performances can include concerts, carol concerts, singing at events and fayres, singing in local bandstands, theatres, shopping centres and more.


    There is no additional cost associated to performing at any of our concerts or events. 


    Performing is always optional.

  • NOT FOR PROFIT

    Let's All Sing is a not-for-profit choir. 


    This means any profit that we make from membership fees, concert tickets, raffles and fundraising events is either put back into providing additional music opportunities for members or donated to local charities.

  • READING MUSIC

    You don't have to be able to read music to join our choir.


    We provide lyrics (and/or sheet music) for the songs we sing. We also provide rehearsal tracks in the members' area where you can learn your part through listening.

  • AGE OF SINGERS


    Let's All Sing is an adult community choir, welcoming people aged 18 and over.


  • CONCESSIONS

    Let's All Sing choir offer a concessionary rate to those over the age of 18 who also meet any of the following set criteria: 

    • Full time students; foster carers; carers of looked after children; those who are disabled (as defined by the Equality Act 2010); those who are in receipt of income support
    • This rate is charged at the discretion of management and upon proof of eligibility

  • CHOIR STEERING COMMITTEE

    Let's All Sing is proud to be a group that upholds the voices and opinions of our members. 


    Our steering committee meets monthly and discusses all things Let's All Sing from events to fundraising, song choices to biscuit choices!
